Black History Month Documentary Series
Our annual Black History Month Documentary Series Returns in 2024! Celebrate Black History Month with the Seneca City Museums at the Seneca Light and Water Filter Plant (630 Northhampton Rd, Seneca, SC 29672) as we watch and discuss a film related to Black history. Free Event! No registration is required; seating will be available until the event is full.

Experience the beauty of the Lunney Museum fully decorated for the holiday season by candlelight on December 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th, beginning at 6:30 pm. Fee event. Must be Pre-Registered to attend.
A Lunney Christmas
Celebrate the season at the Lunney Museum. The event begins at 2 PM with events for children until 4 PM with a special guest. At 5 PM the evening festivities begin! With music, food, and drinks until 8 PM. Free event. Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Documentary Series - When They Could Fly
Explore Black History this Black History Month with the Seneca City Museums Documentary Series. Documentaries and films convey concepts and histories in a way that is unique to the medium. Filmmakers bring to life important moments in the modern day and throughout history, offering rich insight into our society and culture. Join the Seneca City Museums to watch and learn from documentaries and films that show the history of African Americans in the United States and how that history impacts modern society. Following each film, there will be a conversation led by our staff that explores the themes in the documentary.

A Lunney Christmas
A Christmas Open House at the Lunney Museum! Enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment at this drop-in event at the Lunney Museum. Food and drinks for the event will be provided by 313 Cafe in Seneca, SC. All food and beverages from the bar are free. Enjoy music throughout the evening inside the Lunney Museum. Experience snow at the Lunney Museum with the snow machine set up for attendees to enjoy!
No registration is required. Drop-in anytime between 4 pm and 8 pm.
